After a solid start from RCB in 1st over of the match, Shreyas Gopal’s Hat-trick helps RR to contain the runs in next 4 overs that makes RCB to put a moderate total in the board. RR looks good from start but at 4th over again it’s started to rain and match has been abandoned. This leads to RCB officially out of the tournament.

RR won the toss and chose to bowl but match has started at 11:26pm because of heavy rain. Since it consumed more time the referee announced that it’s a 5 over match. RCB were flying at 35/0 in the first 1.3 overs with 3 fours and 3 sixes but they lose 7 wickets for 27 runs in the next 3.3 overs. Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers and Marcus Stoinis’s dismissals during the hat-trick made the RCB batting line up to struggle. Other batsman didn’t take much time to go pavilion, they just came stand for 4-5 balls and got out. RCB posted just 62 runs after a huge start.

Sanju Samson and Liam Livingstone started the innings for RR. Both batsman looks well settle by smashing boundaries and rotating the strike, Especially Samson was in good touch he just timed the ball perfectly. He got out in Yuzvendra Chahal’s over of second ball by trying to hit slog sweep but it got top edge and Negi caught the after a little stumble that Umesh Yadav or him to catch ball. The rain again came after the Samson’s wicket and umpire called off the match and gave 1 point to each team. By this RCB will be in 9 points and now they are out of the tournament. RR has some chance to get in tournament but we should see the upcoming matches results to see that.
